Oasis House Ministry Description
The Oasis House is an outreach ministry of emotional and spiritual encouragement for women working in adult entertainment and the sex industry. We have outreach teams who go into the nightclubs each week to bring food and to build relationships with the women. On holidays we take gift bags and flowers as a gesture of God’s love and acceptance. Through our outreach we invite the women to the Oasis House for resources that will enhance their life.
Our resources include GED tutoring, teaching literacy, computer training, professional counseling, job placement, life skill and self-empowerment classes (called YES, for You’re Extra Special), spiritual and emotional support, and referrals to professionals in the Dayton Community. Our goal is to be a support system for women who want to make life changes.
