Dear Sister,
We at the Oasis House are reaching out to you. We have come into your neighborhood to create an Oasis for you, with Oasis being defined as a fertile place in the desert with water, a place that offers welcome relief from difficulty and problems. We have worked to make The Oasis House beautiful so you will want to come. We hope it is inviting and warm.
We know, that just like us, you have your own personal story and we will listen without stereotyping or judging. We have women who were in your shoes at one time and now want to support you. We have professional counselors who are making themselves available to be here for you. We have many other women who are willing to do whatever needs to be done to make The Oasis House an effective ministry. We are partnering with other professionals in the Dayton area to provide services that we are not trained to do.
We know change does not come easily, but we believe that with prayer, with our support and with your efforts, your life can be more stable and fulfilling. We believe you can do anything you set your mind to do. We believe in you! We believe in a big God who loves us all and wants to give us the desires of our heart.
Have you wanted to be a better reader, or get your GED, or learn how to use a computer? We can help in these areas. Have you wanted healing from all the times you have been hurt in your life? We can help you.
Have you wanted to be a better mother, have healthier relationships, or have higher personal esteem? We will offer classes in those areas. Have you wanted to know for sure that God loves you and hears your prayers? We will pray with you and show you God’s love.
You are invited to the Oasis House at 6333 North Dixie Drive. We offer ourselves to you.
